Bogen Communications Partners With Alertus to Enhance Integrated Emergency Communication

BogenAlertus

On Dec. 18, Bogen Communications LLC announced their partnership with Alertus Technologies. The partnership aims to integrate Bogen Communications’ paging technology with Alertus’ alert systems for better automated communication for users. The company hopes that the merging of these technologies will provide reliable support for emergency situations through a more comprehensive alert system.

The companies believe that this partnership will enhance communication through fully automated services that allow companies and institutions to operate well and efficiently respond to critical situations while maintaining privacy and security.

“Our collaboration with Bogen Communications enhances how institutions manage and distribute critical alerts,” said Amanda Sassano, Vice President of Business Development for Alertus. “By connecting the Alertus platform with the Nyquist paging system, organizations gain a reliable and flexible method for disseminating emergency messages across their facilities.”

The collaboration allows alerts from Alertus Technologies to be sent through Bogen Communications’ paging system and speakers. Through API communication, alerts can be automated to trigger a sequence of actions or procedures in response to emergency situations with the Nyquist Platform Routines. This will allow for Nyquist to display status through the Alertus console.

“The partnership strengthens our ability to support customers seeking dependable, interoperable emergency communication,” said Randall Lee, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Bogen Communications LLC. “Alertus brings a strong mass notification platform that complements our Nyquist system, enabling organizations to streamline alert delivery, automate responses, and use their existing infrastructure more effectively.”

The new systems will also allow for application to several network environments through adaptability to both software and SIP-based level integration. Bogen Communications also implicated the variety of settings for which these systems may be integrated, such as in education, healthcare and transportation environments in which mass communication is necessary. The companies hope that this partnership will help to facilitate the response to emergency situations and minimize communication fallout during time-sensitive events.
