William R “Bill” Lowe passed away July 24th, 2011, at University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He died from apparently heart failure.
Bill, the youngest of two children, was born to William Lloyd and Mildred Lowe on November 4, 1946 in Oak Park, IL. He attended Texas Tech University and majored in Art and English.
Bill had a long career in the audio visual industry working first as a dealer before becoming a manufacturers representative. His employers were Dukane Audio Visual Products, Sanyo USA, Optoma Technologies, and recently he was responsible for sales of Sennheiser products for Smith Audio Visual of Lenexa, Kansas.
Bill’s training in the arts lead him to pursue his interest in photography. In 2010, Bill started a business, “Lodge Spring Photo Art and Collectibles.” His pictures and Pine Tree Reindeer can be found in local galleries and resale shops.
Bill is survived by his wife of 19 years, Paulette, his sister Marilyn Meachem and her husband Pete, and three step children Theresa, David, and Patrick Melville, and numerous friends and business associates around the United States. A memorial service was held August 8 at Cloudcroft Church of Christ.
