Biamp Systems Brings Customized Network Media Systems to Enterprise Connect 2014

biamplogo_0409BEAVERTON, Oregon — March 6, 2014 — Biamp Systems today announced that it will be bringing its market-leading AVB audio/video portfolio of networked media systems to Enterprise Connect® 2014, March 17-20 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. Now with expanded protocol options including a Dante™-enabled DAN-1 digital server networking card, the company’s Tesira® 2.0 platform provides flexible networking capabilities. Additionally, Biamp Systems’ newly released TesiraFORTÉ line extends Audio Video Bridging (AVB) to application-specific settings via eight preconfigured models. Biamp® will also demonstrate its Biamp Canvas™ design control software, which enables the simple creation of customized Tesira screens.

“With the addition of Dante interoperability, our Tesira media system delivers market-first flexibility to choose any of the three available protocols — AVB, CobraNet, or Dante — all within a single chassis,” said Justin O’Connor, Audio Product Manager, Biamp Systems. “For application-specific settings, Biamp’s new TesiraFORTÉ provides a powerful combination of audio processing performance and ease-of-use for today’s conferencing, telephony, and VoIP environments taking advantage of AVB. We look forward to demonstrating these exciting innovations at this year’s Enterprise Connect.”

Designed to satisfy the audio requirements of both everyday and enterprise applications, Biamp’s new line of TesiraFORTÉ server-class devices are the market’s first AVB DSP solutions with configurable USB audio. Used as standalone solutions or within AVB-networked architectures, the units offer eight-channel USB audio support to interface directly with third-party technology — supporting a variety of conferencing, recording, and background music requirements within a single product line. Available in eight preconfigured models, TesiraFORTÉ features Sona™ AEC technology, SpeechSense™, and sophisticated audio technologies to provide clear, echo-free communication within any audio environment.

Also new at Enterprise Connect is Biamp Canvas design control software, which allows users to create and use customized computer control screens with Biamp’s Tesira digital audio systems — enabling the design of graphic control interfaces that can be tailored to exact user requirements. Features include drag-and-drop design programming, various drawing tools, room combiner support, live updatable presets, and multiple auto-connect shortcuts. Biamp Canvas files can be password protected, accessed by multiple network computers, and added to system control capabilities in tandem with hardware control panels and via third-party RS-232.

Biamp System’s Tesira family of products and Biamp Canvas design control software will be on display at Enterprise Connect 2014 in booth 1800.
