Biamp introduced Parlé Presenter Lift, a solution that uses ceiling-mounted Parlé microphones to capture and reinforce presenter voices without the need for podium, handheld or over-ear microphones. The system combines Parlé beamforming microphones with signal processing to improve gain while suppressing feedback — delivering the benefits of traditional presenter mics without the hardware.

Parlé Presenter Lift amplifies and projects the presenter’s voice in auditoriums and presentation spaces of all sizes — including classrooms, divisible rooms, multi-purpose spaces, training rooms and lecture halls. The system enables presenters to move freely without wearing or holding any equipment, thanks to overhead voice capture.

The technology works by locking ceiling microphone beams to the presenter’s location for precise audio pickup. A new algorithm within Tesira digital signal processors (DSPs) improves feedback suppression, expanding the applications of existing Parlé microphones and Tesira DSPs for more complex room configurations.
