The BEST of InfoComm 2019 Awards

Welcome to the 2019 Best of InfoComm Awards! Unlike ANY other awards program at InfoComm, manufacturers can’t pay to enter — in fact, they can’t even nominate their own products. We are NOT pay-for-play.

What do we mean? Well, EVERY OTHER product award program in and around InfoComm are what are known as pay-for-play. Pay-for-play means you can’t win an award unless you pay to enter your product — this is not only unethical but problematic (and limiting) as, if you don’t pay, you can’t play — or win. Thus, small companies with small marketing budgets can’t win product awards — even when they have the best product. So, our Best of InfoComm Awards take into consideration EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT exhibited at the show.

In fact, we actually sent videographers to shoot product videos at EVERY SINGLE BOOTH (you can watch them all yourself by going here). Yes, we stop at every booth. And, since we shoot videos of every new product, it gives us the ability to collectively pick the best-of-the-best. No one pays to enter, no one pays to win and the products and companies awarded didn’t have a clue that they won — until we announced these at Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. — at the same time everyone else found out!

So, who won and why?

Well, below, you’ll find every major product category covered — from projectors to speakers to UCC gear — and everything in-between. There are over 100 product categories — each one with a winner!

But, before you look at each one, let me cover the biggies! First off, a giant congrats to Logitech for taking home the ultimate Best of InfoComm Award — Best Overall New Product — with its new Logitech Tap — when you look into his product, you know that this is going to be the biggest UCC product in history. When we look back at this win a year from now, you’ll see that no other product will be used in UCC spaces more than the Tap. So, it took home the coveted top overall pick of the show!

Most Creative New Product goes to T1V’s own ThinkHub xCanvas. This is one of the coolest things I have seen in years — we think you’ll agree! The top new “systems-based” product — dubbed Best New AV Systems Product — went to the Sony REAC-1000. Best New Video Product is the Lifesize Icon 700 and the Best New Audio Product likely went to a product you didn’t even see even if you were at the InfoComm Show — the Clockaudio TIM 1000. Samsung’s 8K QLED took home the Best Overall Flat-Panel Display award and LG’s Transparent Touch-based OLED easily took home the Best Transparent Display award. Finally, Leyard won the Best Overall LED with their new 0.7mm DirectLight 4K LED system and NEC Display’s A019 Poster Display won the Best Portable LED Product award!

But, there are 91 others. So, take some time to check these out! They’re all here:
