BenQ announced the launch of the LK830ST, a 4K short throw laser projector designed for projection mapping, immersive spaces and corporate applications.
The LK830ST is positioned as a midrange option that delivers many of the features of high-end simulation projectors at roughly half the cost, making it suitable for attractions, education and business environments. Target applications include haunted houses, holiday mapping, indoor playgrounds, holographic exhibits and immersive training facilities.
The projector offers 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160), a short throw lens with a 0.5 throw ratio, and 4,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. BenQ said the LK830ST also delivers Rec.709 color accuracy, a simulation mode that enhances reds, greens and yellows, and factory calibration for seamless blending.
Commercial-grade durability features include IP6X dust resistance, 24/7 operation support and tolerance for up to 80% humidity. The unit weighs 7.5 pounds, requires no filter maintenance, and consumes as little as 130 watts in Smart Eco mode. A one-button setup for multi-projector edge blending is also included.

BenQ has also partnered with AtmosFX, a digital holiday decoration company, and Illumibot, a developer of AI-driven projection platforms, to create bundled solutions for holiday projection mapping. The packages combine content, AI mapping tools and BenQ projectors for large-scale seasonal displays.
The LK830ST is available now through authorized BenQ partners and at BenQ.com at a suggested retail price of $2,499.
