BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, will demonstrate its easy-to-use and easy-to-manage edtech solutions built for tomorrow’s classrooms at ISTELive 22, June 26-29. In Booth 616, BenQ will showcase the latest additions to its award-winning BenQBoard education interactive display family, including the new BenQBoard RM03 series; BlueCore laser family of education projectors; ST02 Series digital signage displays; and InstaShow wireless presentation system (WPS).

“Presentation technology deployed in the classroom must work to the benefit of teachers and students, whether in-person, remote, or hybrid,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ America Corp. “At ISTE, educators will be able to experience our smart boards built to be the collaborative hub of any classroom; brighter projectors with superior color accuracy; displays that meet digital signage trends; and a way to share to screens without fussing with software, logins, or cables. Every solution will dramatically evolve the classroom teaching and learning experience out of the box.”

The Latest in Interactive Display Technology
BenQ has been developing and perfecting its BenQBoards for 10 years, leveraging its leadership in cinematic, esports, and health care display technology. The company’s BenQBoard RM03 Series interactive displays are a culmination of that work, delivering an easy-to-use, healthy, and feature-rich smart board designed for hybrid and remote classrooms. Like all the interactive displays in BenQ’s education portfolio, the new 4K UHD display comes with BenQ’s ClassroomCare, a standard and proprietary line of health-centric technologies that includes germ-resistant screens and pens and low-blue-light, flicker-free, and anti-glare technology to reduce eye strain and create a comfortable viewing experience. It has up to 40 points of simultaneous touch recognition with no lag, InstaShare to wirelessly present to the screen from anywhere, instant and secure access to network files and leading cloud-based applications, BenQ’s EZ Write 6 license-free annotation and whiteboard software, front-accessible I/Os including USB-C, built-in speakers and microphones, and centralized management and signage features for technology administrators. With the BenQBoard RM03 interactive display, educators can be as efficient and effective on the displays as they are on their PC, with features such as the ability to run two applications side by side and an optional slot-in PC to expand onboard functions even further.

Also part of the BenQBoard options for education, the RP02 Series 4K UHD smart boards feature BenQ’s antimicrobial-certified touch screen, air quality sensors, EZWrite cloud-based annotation and whiteboard software, InstaShare, and more. It allows teachers to seamlessly transition between remote and socially distanced lessons while they and their students interact with the screen from any mobile device. They can write on top of any app, video, website, document, or image and save it to a cloud platform like Google Classroom or Dropbox, right from the screen. The display also features BenQ’s InstaShare wireless collaboration solution that smoothly streams media, including full-HD video, while it wirelessly mirrors content from users’ mobile devices. Its easy-to-access front I/O port and eight-array microphone with noise cancellation make it easy for teachers to record every lesson.

Project True-to-Life Details
In addition to the company’s extensive lineup of projectors, which includes ultra-short-throw, short-throw, and interactive models to suit any classroom need, BenQ will showcase its two new laser projectors now available in its renowned BlueCore laser projector family: the 8500-ANSI-lumen LU9750 and 10,000-ANSI-lumen LU9800. Color can be one of the most valuable pieces of information when learning, especially in science, STEM, language arts, and other visually detail-oriented subjects. That’s why BenQ is invested in laser projection technology that is not only incredibly bright but also incredibly accurate and affordable. These new BenQ projectors offer exceptional WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds full-HD 1080p for greater detail and stunning image clarity at a high lumen count to deliver 95% Rec. 709 color coverage and accuracy that has only been available from the most expensive projectors found on the market today. They’re also set apart in their maintenance-free, flexible design. They feature an innovative, fully enclosed laser engine that is IP5X-certified to completely protect against dust without cleaning and replacing ineffective filters and that prolongs the life of the projector.

Digital Signage Built With Simplicity in Mind
Also at the BenQ booth will be the BenQ ST02 Series, which offers all-in-one 4K smart signage with ultra-thin bezels for superb picture quality and optimal visibility with anti-glare in any environment. These displays feature a built-in Android OS to access files, display content, and start presentations without the need to connect to other devices. Mountable in either landscape or portrait mode, these smart signage panels are the perfect digital signage solutions for communicating wayfinding, events, activities, alerts and safety information and for video wall applications in educational environments. Designed for simplicity of operation, they help administrators deliver compelling signage that rivets attention without the need for additional peripherals, content management systems, or design software. With removable wheels, the displays’ easy-to-go stands let users quickly move signage from one room to another to maximize usability. Taking advantage of BenQ’s X-Sign content management software, creating and scheduling content is a breeze. With X-Sign, users can choose from hundreds of customizable templates, like daily events. In addition, the series features BenQ’s Device Management Solution application for both remote and centralized display management.

Tap to Teach
With the InstaShow WDC20E education WPS, teachers simply tap to teach — sharing their screen to the classroom’s smartboards or projectors at the touch of a button. The affordable WDC20E is a smart solution for classroom collaboration. Its network-free, software-free, and app-free design makes it easy to use. It supports video streams up to 4K resolution via the latest wireless 802.11ac standards and can split the screen among four devices — whether it’s a Google Chromebook, notebook, phone, tablet, microscope, or any device with an HDMI out port. Moreover, no student is left out of collaborative learning opportunities, with the ability to connect up to 32 devices or input sources at a time — the highest of any WPS. It’s also the first all-hardware, plug-and-play WPS designed to ensure data and content privacy using advanced 128-bit algorithms. Available in models even for the latest USB-C-enabled laptops and notebooks, teachers simply plug the InstaShow button into their device and tap to share content. Classrooms equipped with interactive displays will benefit from the Touch Back feature, which allows users to control and annotate their presentations originating from Windows computers directly from the display. In addition, the split-screen mode can be used to control up to four laptops. Annotations made on the touch screen can also be displayed and saved on the laptop for a seamless content pipeline that students can refer to later.
