BenQ Cares Program Offers RevolutionEyes LCD Monitor Upgrade to University Students

benq-logoCOSTA MESA, Calif. — Aug. 12, 2014 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of Classroom IQ solutions, today announced that the company’s BenQ Cares initiative will offer university students the opportunity to replace their out-of-date or underperforming LCD monitor with a new RevolutionEyes™ monitor from BenQ — just in time for the fall semester. The contest is open to part- or full-time students across the United States currently enrolled in an accredited college or university for the 2014-2015 academic year. BenQ Cares provides discounts to qualifying schools, colleges, and universities for the company’s Classroom IQ solutions, which are designed to transform classrooms into collaborative learning spaces.

To enter the contest, students must visit the RevolutionEyes site at http://info.benq.us/revolutioneyes and submit a video describing their current monitor and why a BenQ monitor would be a superior solution. The more creative the video, the better the chances are that the company will select those entrants for an upgrade. The entry deadline for the competition is Sept. 8 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Students must submit their videos using an .edu email address or a valid college/university email account in order to be eligible.

“We are committed to providing education technology that ensures students can go back to school with the best solutions available to help them succeed” said Patti Postel, CTS, National Education Sales Manager at BenQ America Corp. “With the BenQ Cares Monitor Upgrade contest, we’re offering students a chance to express their creative spirit for an opportunity to make their workstation truly excel.”

All of BenQ’s monitors feature the company’s RevolutionEyes technology, maximizing exceptional performance and enhanced visual comfort. With the company’s ZeroFlicker™ innovation, the monitors eliminate backlight flickering at all levels of brightness, increasing overall eye comfort and allowing students to buckle down for long study sessions or writing assignments without being concerned about eye fatigue. The monitors’ “Low Blue Light” technology removes up to 70 percent of blue-spectrum light, protecting students’ eyes during extended periods of use without any negative affects to picture quality.

BenQ Cares is a community outreach program designed to provide educators and schools across North America with a wide range of dedicated sales and support initiatives that reinforce BenQ’s unequaled commitment to the success of today’s students, teachers, and learning institutions. Through its portfolio of forward-thinking Classroom IQ solutions, the company brings more simplicity, interactivity, and efficiency to today’s dynamic learning spaces.
