BenQ Releases New Line of Entry-Level BlueCore DLP Laser Projectors
BenQ has introduced the entry-level BlueCore WUXGA and 1080p 4,000- and 5,000-lumen laser projectors: the LU710, LU930, LH710 and LH930. All use laser lighting, and all models use BenQ’s BlueCore IP5X-certified, dustproof, filter-free laser engine that’s spec’d at 20,000 hours of operation. In addition, the DLP chips are hermetically sealed and resist heat for over 100,000 hours without degradation.
The LU710 (WUXGA) and LH710 (1080p) are both spec’d at 4,000 ANSI lumens and the LU930 (WUXGA) and LH930 (1080p) are specified at 5,000 ANSI lumens. And, they have BenQ’s new LumiExpert technology that automatically detects the ambient light conditions of the room and adjusts the projector’s brightness.
Compatible with BenQ’s InstaShow wireless presentation system, the system allows up to 32 participants to present from any device — including Google Chromebook and Apple devices — to the BlueCore laser projector in the room with a transmitter. InstaShow supports both the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and the WPA2 authentication protocol.
