BEHRINGER Expands Nekkst Series of Studio Monitors

behringerk6subwoofer1/27/2014 Behringer is expanding its Nekkst Series of Audiophile Bi-amped Studio Monitors by adding the K6 and K10S subwoofer to the existing K8 and K5 speakers. These 2 new products build on the legacies of both Behringer and Keith R. Klawitter – the most renowned loudspeaker designer in the industry, who together launched the Nekkst Series last year.

The 180-Watt K10S subwoofer and 150-Watt K8, K6 and K5 provide a true distortion-free image of the mix, thanks to their deformation-resistant, glass-fiber cone woofers, which supply deep, tight bass and virtually smear-proof mids. An ultra-high resolution, silk-dome tweeter provides sparkling highs – enhanced by Keith Klawitter’s Advanced Waveguide Technology for an extremely generous sweet spot.

All of this is built into high-density composite enclosures that virtually eliminate low-frequency distortion – and provide ultra-low diffraction. Nekkst Studio Monitors can be easily and instantly adapted to a wide range of acoustical environments, so producers always get accurate response, resulting in powerful mixes that translate perfectly across all playback applications.

“This is my best work yet!” said KRK founder Keith R. Klawitter.

“We are extremely pleased for this opportunity to work with the legendary Keith Klawitter,” said Music Group founder and CEO Uli Behringer. “He’s a perfectionist – and it shows in the design and performance of these amazing speakers!”

The K8, K6, K5 Studio Monitors and K10S Subwoofer have a suggested U.S. MAP of $199.99, $179.99, $149.99 and $249.99 respectively – and are covered by Music Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
