Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2025: An Interview With Nureva’s Nancy Knowlton
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST
Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2025 gives you a front-row seat to the people and products shaping the show floor. In this sponsored series, we sit down with top executives from InfoComm exhibitors to find out what they’re showcasing, which trends they’re watching and how they’re pushing the ProAV industry forward. This interview features Nureva‘s Nancy Knowlton.
Q: Why is Nureva exhibiting at InfoComm 2025, and what are you most excited to showcase this year?
A: We’ve multiple reasons for participating in InfoComm this year. It’s always a great opportunity to connect with our global channel — both resellers and distributors — to share more product information and plans. We’ll also meet directly with our customers, because their feedback, ideas and evolving needs drive our product development direction. This year, connecting with them is particularly important, as we’re previewing a major new product at InfoComm.
Q: What trends do you expect to see dominating the show floor, and how is your company positioned to lead or respond to them?
A: We expect advances in AI will continue to be a major trend. Microsoft is investing heavily in Copilot upgrades and options for others to leverage it. We’re seeing exciting new in-room use cases for microphones, ranging from meeting transcription to real-time translation. Nureva is particularly interested in speech intelligibility in larger spaces and considering what great full-room mic pickup means for both people and AI agents. We’ll continue to layer AI functionality on top of our Microphone Mist™ technology to help deliver specific experiences and use cases.
Another trend we’ll likely see is the deepening of ecosystem relationships with a focus on open APIs and easier paths for customers to understand what products work well together. Nureva has always taken an API-first approach, and we’ll continue to enrich our sound location data and proactively work with leaders in UC&C, controls and cameras. We expect to see more integration options made available by Logitech, Microsoft and other big players. This trend is being driven by customers as they demand more overall flexibility and autonomy in their AV deployments.
Lastly, we expect to see more demand for AV solutions for larger and nontraditional spaces. We continue to get questions about divisible spaces and flexible setups, like using an office lunch space for townhalls. The trend points to a need for larger spaces to do more, support multiple use cases and be easy to reconfigure.
Q: Which new products, solutions or updates are you featuring — and how do they address current needs in the AV industry?
A: We’re releasing new functionality for our HDL pro series and the Nureva® App at the end of May. This update will deliver Adaptive Voice Amplification, which enables a presenter’s voice to be amplified in-room while simultaneously supporting pickup from the audience and distributed participants. With this release, we provide more advanced tuning controls to support an expanded set of wireless mic types including lavalier, gooseneck and handheld. Our customers are asking us to provide functionality that improves the in-room experience while still supporting distributed participants and audio capture.
We’re also excited to preview a major new product line from Nureva! While we can’t get into details here, we’re extending our solution into new audio use cases and spaces.
Q: How is your company supporting integrators and end users in navigating today’s biggest AV challenges — not just at InfoComm, but year-round?
A: We support our channel in meeting the challenges of the day in multiple ways:
- In-person and synchronous training events and an increasing range of available resources.
- On-call live support for their challenging deployments.
- Continuous product development to deliver the functionality that customers want.
- Direct customer engagement and support to keep us informed of evolving needs.
We offer an open and direct opportunity for our channel to engage with us to both ask for what they want and need and to learn about how we can assist and support them.
Q: Why should InfoComm 2025 attendees make a point to stop by your booth?
A: We’re introducing an exciting new audio product at the show, again for large and extra-large spaces. We’ll be able to go into some depth when people visit our booth to help them appreciate the myriad audio solutions that this single product offers. We can also arrange for them to visit our private room to experience some of the new product functionality firsthand.
Q: Anything else you’d like to share ahead of the show?
A: We offer an IT-first take on audio solutions that deliver the functionality, price point and simplicity our customers want. It’s a new way of supporting evolving customer needs.
