Behind The Booth InfoComm 2025 Appspace

Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2025 gives you a front-row seat to the people and products shaping the show floor. In this sponsored series, we sit down with top executives from InfoComm exhibitors to find out what they’re showcasing, which trends they’re watching and how they’re pushing the ProAV industry forward. This interview features Appspace‘s Thomas Philippart de Foy.

Q: Why is Appspace exhibiting at InfoComm 2025, and what are you most excited to showcase this year?

A: InfoComm is where the AV industry gathers to spot what’s next. For Appspace, it’s the ideal stage to show how digital signage can do more than display content. It can connect people. We’re showcasing how intelligent content creation and streamlined orchestration are changing how organizations communicate across screens, spaces, and systems.

Digital signage has been at the core of our platform since day one. It’s where we started, and it remains a cornerstone of how our customers create connected, consistent workplace experiences. As part of our unified platform, signage plays a vital role in delivering 360-degree communication, reaching team members in lobbies, breakrooms, and conference rooms just as effectively as on desktops and mobile apps.

That’s why this year’s spotlight is on two major innovations: AI-generated content for digital signage and Appspace Orchestration. Together, these features make it easier than ever to create, publish, and measure content, helping teams engage specific audiences with precision and speed. At InfoComm, we want to help organizations see signage as a dynamic force for connection, clarity, and culture.

Q: What trends do you expect to see dominating the show floor, and how is your company positioned to lead or respond to them?

A: I wish I could surprise you with a never-before-seen technology trend, but let’s be honest, AI will continue to steal the spotlight, and rightfully so. The novelty may have worn off, but the possibilities are just getting started. The real question now is: how can we use AI to do more than just impress? How do we make it meaningful?
That’s where Appspace is focused. AI isn’t a bolt-on enhancement for us. It’s embedded into how teams create, manage, and distribute content. From generating headlines and visuals for digital signage to intelligently orchestrating messaging across workplace tools, we’re helping companies build internal campaigns that are more timely, personalized, and effective.

We also expect to see deeper conversations about efficiency and environmental responsibility, especially as AV, IT, and facilities teams work more closely together. Appspace connects with occupancy and environmental sensors to deliver real-time insights that inform space planning, reduce waste, and optimize resource use—supporting both sustainability and operational goals.

AI and automation may get the headlines, but the bigger picture is about engagement. That’s where we help our customers connect with the right audiences and measure what matters.

Q: Which new products, solutions, or updates are you featuring—and how do they address current needs in the AV industry?

A: We’re introducing built-in AI tools for digital signage that enable teams to generate both visuals and text directly within the Appspace platform. Whether you’re announcing the holiday schedule or highlighting a wellness initiative, you can create compelling, branded content in seconds.

We’re also spotlighting Appspace Orchestration, which brings intelligence to every part of the internal communications workflow. Content created in SharePoint or other tools can be enriched, scheduled, and targeted; then published across signage, apps, and collaboration platforms with full visibility into performance.

These tools aren’t just about publishing faster. They’re about crafting better campaigns, reaching the right audiences, and using analytics to improve every message moving forward.

Q: How is your company supporting integrators and end users in navigating today’s biggest AV challenges—not just at InfoComm, but year-round?

A: We support integrators with a platform that’s enterprise-ready but surprisingly simple to implement and scale. Clear documentation, centralized control, and a support network that’s actually supportive, or, in other words, reachable, responsive, and ready to help.

For end-users, our tools remove complexity. Whether you’re in internal comms, facilities, or IT, you can publish consistent content without jumping between systems. We provide audience targeting, flexible integrations, and rich analytics so organizations can better understand not just what was published, but what actually engaged people.
From digital signage to workplace apps, we’re enabling AV teams and communicators to work smarter without adding more tools or overhead.

Q: Why should InfoComm 2025 attendees make a point to stop by your booth?

A: If you want to see how digital signage can go beyond “up on the wall” and become a fully integrated, intelligent part of your workplace communication strategy, then come visit us at booth 4381 in the West Concourse.
We’ll be conducting live demos of AI-powered content creation, demonstrating how anyone can create an announcement or alert in seconds. No design degree is required. Attendees will see how it all fits into Appspace Orchestration, our automation engine that connects content across screens, systems, and audiences with built-in analytics to track impact.

Digital signage is more than a screen. For us, it’s the launchpad for creating a workplace that truly communicates. And yes, the rumors are true. Appspace has the best candy and giveaways at the show. Come for the chocolate, stay for the strategy.

Q: Anything else you’d like to share ahead of the show?

A: This year is about elevating digital signage from a static channel to a dynamic part of a company’s communication strategy. That’s been our philosophy since day one, and at InfoComm, we’re showing what it looks like in action.
We’d love to connect, share ideas, and show how we’re helping AV leaders create more intelligent, engaging, and connected workplaces. Stop by and say hello. We’re all in on making communication work better for everyone, everywhere.
