Barco, which showed some huge and gorgeous LED displays at the company’s InfoComm booth, announced the new OLITE 612 at InfoComm. The new OLITE 612, has a pixel pitch of 12mm and a bright light output of 6000NITs. It also features a new shader design for darker black levels especially in broad daylight. This new product can be used anywhere but is especially useful for venues such as outdoor events such as live concerts, where brightness and contrast become crucial.

Built specifically for rental and staging, the OLITE 612 lets the system integrator have a little fun with the design as well as the classic Image Magnification (IMAG) applications. Each tile can be split up into 48 small, square individual modules so you can create any size and shape. This allows the LED to be used for more than just pure video magnification. The modularity allows designers to integrate LED screen technology into set designs, and to let video flow over surfaces.
