B-Tech AV Mounts Launches Patent Pending Soft-open LCD Video Wall Mount Worldwide

BT8312

Brea, CA., July 20, 2021 — B-Tech AV Mounts, an award-winning designer,

manufacturer, and distributor of professional audio-visual mounting solutions for flat panel displays, video walls, digital signage, and projection, is pleased to announce the introduction of the BT8312; a slim, soft open LCD video wall mount that provides installers with enhanced flexibility and accessibility at project sites.

The BT8312 includes a patent pending soft open feature unlike other press and release mounts. The BT8312 ensures controlled and unassisted forward extension of the mount after a light push on the bezel of the display. This “hands-off” extension eliminates the requirement for a physical pull on the mount or display when servicing which often creates misalignment and even damage to expensive commercial displays.

VP of Sales for North America Tiffany Dozier states that “The technology and design of the soft open feature is innovative in mounting and is an extremely helpful feature when installing and maintaining displays. Once people understand the mechanics of the mount, they truly will understand how much easier projects will become.” When asked about why the BT8312 was different from other video wall mounts, Dozier replied “Our LCD video wall products have been used for some of the biggest projects across the globe and it only keeps getting better through continuously adding enhancements that bring benefits directly to our integrators and installers.”

The BT8312 builds on the precision alignment found on the inaugural BT8310 model which was the first “pop out” mount introduced by B-Tech AV Mounts. “When it comes to LCD videowalls, alignment is everything’ says Nick Spencer, Director of Marketing and Communications. ‘That’s why we designed the BT8312 with 8 unique points of micro-adjustment for accurate screen alignment including adjustability at each corner.” In addition, the adjustments do not require specialized tools and can be adjusted comfortably by hand using the ergonomically designed knobs meaning faster adjustments for perfect symmetry across the front face of the videowall.

In addition, most mounting solutions on the market require additional components when mounting in landscape or portrait configuration, but the BT8312 mounts displays in both orientations without having to purchase additional hardware pieces. The BT8312 also has core B-Tech features integrators and installers have come to expect including over 6.5 inches of extension for servicing, keyhole mounting, and display specific wall plate spacer kits.

The BT8312 will be showcased at this year’s InfoComm show in Orlando from October 27th to 29th at booth 3843.
