AVI-SPL Selected by GDIT to Support US Army Europe and Africa AV Services

AVI-SPL has been selected by General Dynamics Information Technology as a subcontractor to deliver audiovisual, collaboration and integrated meeting space services in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

The work falls under GDIT’s $1.25 billion Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services 2 task order and is aimed at supporting secure, reliable collaboration environments for U.S. Army Europe and Africa headquarters, subordinate organizations, NATO and allied mission partners.

Under the subcontract, AVI-SPL will provide end-to-end audiovisual and meeting room infrastructure designed to support real-time communication and coordination across geographically dispersed units. The scope includes systems intended to meet security, scalability and operational requirements for mission-critical environments.

The contract was awarded in September 2025 and includes a five-month transition period followed by seven option years. According to the companies, the effort is focused on ensuring consistent and secure collaboration capabilities that support operational readiness and decision-making.

AVI-SPL’s role supports GDIT’s broader efforts to modernize mission systems for U.S. Army Europe and Africa. The program is intended to improve how personnel and partner organizations communicate and collaborate across multiple locations and operational contexts.

AVI-SPL provides audiovisual and unified communications services for enterprise, government and defense customers worldwide. The company’s experience includes the design, integration and support of secure meeting and collaboration environments.

GDIT serves as the prime contractor on the EMITS-2 task order, which supports enterprise IT services for U.S. Army Europe and Africa. The program covers a range of mission and business systems intended to enhance operational effectiveness and information sharing across allied organizations.
