Audio Visual Furniture’s (AVF) SYZ42 is a uniquely designed mobile stand that can handles both a flat-screen from 40″-60”, but it’s also the first mobile stand (it integrates rear-mounted ball-bearing wheels) that accommodates the SMART kapp system as well. Designed to be tilt-rolled — meaning, when it’s free-standing, it doesn’t move as the wheels are rear-mounted but, when tilted back, it can be rolled like a dolly – the stand is designed to ADA (American with Disabilities) standards with two height settings and all cabling can be hidden inside the column of the stand. In addition, the base of the stand includes a riser that sits flat on the ground on the front and then is angled up to accommodate someone pulling up to it in a wheelchair — this means that you won’t trip over the base — like you can with most wheeled carts.
Integrated with VESA 200, 300, 400 and 400/200 mounting capability, the SYZ42 weighs 67-pounds and is available in white or black finishes. An LCD can be mounted in both portrait or landscape and, because of weight distribution, virtually anyone can tilt the stand back and move it wherever you want it to be located — and all cabling is totally enclosed inside the spine of the stand’s neck. AVF shows how easy it is to move at the 1:09 time mark of this video:
