AVer Information has launched a new Trade-In Program as part of its broader commitment to sustainability, offering businesses a way to responsibly dispose of old video collaboration gear — even from competing brands — while upgrading to AVer’s latest devices.

Through the program, companies can trade in current or previous-generation video collaboration products from major manufacturers including BirdDog, Canon, Crestron, Cisco, HP Poly, JVC, Logitech, Lumens, Neat, NewTek, Panasonic, PTZOptics, Sony, Vaddio and Yealink. In return, participants receive trade-in credit toward the purchase of new AVer equipment, along with a green certificate verifying the responsible disposal of their old devices — potentially helping earn sustainability credits.

“We want to make it easier for businesses to upgrade their video collaboration technology while recognizing our responsibility to sustainability,” said Suzanne Thomas, VP of sales for AVer Information Inc. USA. “The AVer Trade-In Program is a natural extension of our environmental initiatives, offering businesses an easy and rewarding way to transition to next-generation collaboration technology while ensuring old devices are disposed of responsibly.”

The process begins with a trade-in form submission, which is reviewed by AVer’s team to determine eligibility and calculate the trade-in value. Once a new AVer device is purchased, participants must submit a certificate of destruction within 30 days to confirm that the old hardware has been properly recycled.

The program offers a cost-effective upgrade path while helping to keep electronic waste out of landfills. In addition to receiving credit for new equipment, participants are issued a green certificate, serving as documentation of eco-conscious practices.
