Yes – it’s time to talk Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2016 the big (big!) trade show of the year taking place in Amsterdam this week. Two of our guests just happened to be over in that wonderful city and they were bright and alert for the podcast. Why would that be a challenge you say? Read on.

We begin with an ISE report sent by Katye McGregor Bennett which we discussed talking projection, Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, IoT and more. 

Next we discuss #LiveInstall, the community created by Kris Gamble of Customised in the UK and #AVTweeps where we talk about the creation of the hashtag for this community with Johnny. Chuck also gives great insights here concerning the LiveInstall community as he spent time with Kris and other LiveInstall’ers at ISE. Oh yes and what is a LiveInstall conversation without talking beer and monkey nuts. So what is a monkey nut? We give you the full scoop here.

Alison Maxson is all excited to tell everyone about things that are taking place in Orlando (Orlando?) at another trade show DistribuTECH where Barco is displaying control room solutions however we also find out what’s happening at ISE. And the Barco food of choice there? Listen in to find out.

Bill Nattress in his first ever AV Power Up appearance shows up in the early hours all rested and ready (well rested at least) to join a great conversation on the big four day show and he tells us what’s happening with Biamp at ISE as well as talks about audio and more with John Greene. And we come up with a new term to replace one of the worst buzz words in existence.

Chuck Espinoza “drives by” in the early hours to give us the full madsoundguy experience and also tells us about teaching at ISE and InfoComm’s new FlashTrack program. He also talks about Quiz the Wiz with Harman’s Paul Zielie.
