AUTONOMIC UNVEILS REMOTE DEVICE MANAGEMENT PORTAL

autonomic_logoArmonk, NY. September 9, 2014 – Autonomic, makers of the finest whole-house music systems, has announced the introduction of their Dealer Zone web portal, enabling integrators to manage critical areas of their business in real time and with increased efficiency. The Dealer Zone will enable integrators to provide their customers with rapid access to the latest firmware, features and services without sending a technician onsite.

One of the most critical advantages of Autonomic’s Dealer Zone is the ability to remotely manage devices using the Device Manager. Integrators can view all of the Mirage systems that are currently in the field and associated with their company account. While comfortably seated at their desk, an integrator can update firmware, reboot a customer’s Mirage Media Server, remotely access the configuration page or submit log files and open a support ticket with Autonomic’s technical support team. From the Dealer Zone Device Manager screen, the integrator can see the current firmware for each device, view network settings and whether there is an available update or hotfix. Units presently offline will show information from the most recent check-in and integrators can organize notes and track the service history for each unit.

“Autonomic’s new Dealer Zone will enable us to be proactive when it comes to customer service,” explained Ian Duncan from Phoenix Audio Video. “We can deliver the latest features and updates, provide diagnostics and service all without having to send a technician out to the home. The Dealer Zone is a tool that will enable us to keep our customers happy and stand tall above the competition,” Duncan added.

As a first step to utilizing the Dealer Zone, each integrator will select an Administrator (Admin) for the account. The Admin can then designate and modify the roles of each employee and their access to various fields and incoming emails from Autonomic. Fields are customizable, enabling dealers to track jobs by state, town, technician and other sorting options. Admins have exclusive access to labeling custom fields for the Device Manager and can add or delete a user, reset passwords, edit contact information and direct incoming emails to proper channels for sales news and consumer leads, accounting inquiries, tech alerts or a general mail announcement. Integrators will also have the capability to view and keep track of consumer leads generated through Autonomic’s lead generation tool. Autonomic’s Premier Dealers gain priority access to new sales leads.

“The objective of the Dealer Zone was to give vital connectivity to our integrators, increasing their overall efficiency and their ability to manage existing and prospective customers,” explained Autonomic CTO Michael Toscano. “The Dealer Zone highlights Autonomic’s commitment to the CI channel, bringing the most comprehensive whole-house entertainment solution to integrators around the world.”

The addition of the Dealer Zone portal follows the recent unveiling of the Mirage Music Player MMS-2A, a whole-house entertainment solution that delivers pure, reference quality high-resolution audio through three independent streams to as many as 96 zones. A new generation of the world’s first cloud-based media server, the MMS-2A will store, sync, schedule and stream an entire music collection along with the most popular online streaming services. The MMS-2A also delivers on all of the features that have become the hallmark of the Autonomic brand, including access to the most popular streaming services (PANDORA® internet radio, Rhapsody®, TuneIn Radio, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Deezer, Slacker, Napster and Spotify), cloud synchronization, which brings together music from multiple locations into a single collection that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, three onboard AirPlay receivers enabling guest computer/device streaming, and Autonomic’s exclusive TuneBridge™ technology (patent pending), making it  easier than ever to listen to, discover and explore the universe of music. The MMS-2A is available with pre-programmed modules to integrate with all of the major control systems: Crestron, RTI, Control4, Elan, AMX, and more. Alternative control options include the Mirage Media Controller app for iOS and Android devices, Airplay control and the Mirage Web Interface. All of this functionality at an astonishing MSRP of $1995.

New Mirage Audio System packages available: Autonomic is now offering Mirage Audio System 2 or 5-stream base packs leveraging the MMS-2A and MMS-5A music players, giving integrators a complete range of high-resolution whole-house audio distribution systems. 16-zone packages start at $499 per zone ($7995 MSRP) with 4-Zone, 2-Stream packages as low as $3,995 MSRP. All Mirage Audio System packages can be tailored to the exact needs of each customer and are fully expandable to 96 zones.
