AUTONOMIC Unveils Control4 Driver Beta at CEDIA

phpi3KvOpPMArmonk, NY. September 11, 2014 – Autonomic, makers of the finest whole-house music systems, has announced the introduction of an enhanced Control4 driver that delivers that latest feature-rich Mirage Music Player functionality to Control4 users.

Autonomic’s new Control4 driver improves upon the user experience by making popular features more readily visible and easier to enjoy. Large icons guide users to one-button access to streaming services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, Spotify, Sirius/XM and others. Successive buttons call attention to Local Content, Favorites, Playlists and TuneBridge including Autonomic’s exciting new Snapshot feature —all readily available via a single button push. And users can quickly and intuitively create a Pandora station based on any artist or track that catches their attention. Other feature enhancements include global zone control, the ability to create or clear playlists and queues and a user interface matching the look and feel of Control4’s OS 2.6 Listen experience.

“Integrating music with automation and control has always been central to Autonomic’s mission,”  stated Autonomic CEO Michael de Nigris. “Our products have been integrated with Control4’s award-winning automation system for several years. Control4’s new OS 2.6 Listen experience interface has allowed us to take our integration to a whole new level. Dealers and customers alike will be thrilled with the responsiveness and accessibility of the Mirage Media Server’s most advanced features,” de Nigris concluded.

This exciting new functionality follows the recent unveiling of the Mirage Music Player MMS-2A, a whole-house entertainment solution that delivers pure, reference quality high-resolution audio through three independent streams to as many as 96 zones. A new generation of the world’s first cloud-based media server, the MMS-2A will store, sync, schedule and stream an entire music collection along with the most popular online streaming services. The MMS-2A also delivers on all of the features that have become the hallmark of the Autonomic brand, including access to the most popular streaming services (PANDORA® internet radio, Rhapsody®, TuneIn Radio, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Slacker, Napster and Spotify), cloud synchronization, which brings together music from multiple locations into a single collection that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, three onboard AirPlay receivers enabling guest computer/device streaming, and Autonomic’s exclusive TuneBridge™ technology (patent pending), making it  easier than ever to listen to, discover and explore your favorite music styles and genres. The MMS-2A is available with pre-programmed modules to integrate with all of the major control systems: Crestron, RTI, Control4, Elan, AMX, and more. Alternative control options include the Mirage Media Controller app for iOS and Android devices, Airplay control and the Mirage Web Interface. All of this functionality at an astonishing MSRP of $1995.

New Mirage Audio System packages available: Autonomic is now offering Mirage Audio System 2 or 5-stream base packs leveraging the MMS-2A and MMS-5A music players, giving integrators a complete range of high-resolution whole-house audio distribution systems. 16-zone packages start at $499 per zone ($7995 MSRP) with 4-Zone, 2-Stream packages as low as $3,995 MSRP. All Mirage Audio System packages can be tailored to the exact needs of each customer and are fully expandable to 96 zones.
