Aurora Will Debut a Two-Input, Eight-Output HDMI Splitter at ISE 2019
Aurora Multimedia will use ISE 2019 to debut an eight-port 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI PoE splitter with downscaling per individual output. Dubbed the DXE-218, it takes two HDMI inputs and splits it into eight HDMI ports all with CEC control, EDID management, Hot Plug Detection and PoE (power over Ethernet). This can all be managed and set up via the LAN port for control and statistics of all ports.
In addition, the downscaling per port allows 1080p screens to be utilized on the same splitter with a 4K60 source. The DXE-218 has two input ports to select from to change content and PoE simplifies cabling by eliminating all external power supplies.
Here are more detailed specs.
