Aurora has shipped three new HDBaseT 2.0 products — the HTW-2, a two gang Decora wall plate HDBaseT transmitter, the HTE- TX2, a box-style HDBaseT transmitter and the HTE-RX2 receiver designed to decode the HDBaseT back to HDMI and audio. All three are capable of transmitting 4K60 4:4:4 18Gbps HDMI 2.0/HDCP2.2 up to 100m (330ft) over a single unshielded CAT cable with what they are spec’ing as zero frame latency. All three are integrated a web server for remote IP control, USB 2.0 with directional control and an option for two- or eight-channel Dante.

The HT Series includes PoH for remote powering (all other HDBaseT products on the market that use the PoH are limited to one direction). Aurora allows a user to choose which side to power from and in a nonproprietary way so it will work with any HDBaseT PoH compliant device. And the HT Series can power both Tx and Rx from a single port of a PoE Switch, eliminating external power supplies.

Integrated with Aurora’s JavaScript and HTML5-based ReAX IP Control engine option (IPE-REAX-1), that means they are IP controllable throughout the network without the need of an external proprietary control engine. All three of them are here.
