Aurora Multimedia and Glory Star Partner for All-in-One High Temperature Sensing Tablet

aurora glorystarAurora Multimedia and Glory Star have partnered to build a unique business appliance for the post-COVID-19 world, the TTS-10. It’s a 10″ Android-based all-in-one infrared temperature sensing tablet that’s available in 15.6” and 21.5” sizes with a variety of stands, desktop and wall-mount options, designed to send an alert if a person with a high temperature is nearby.

Within 1 second, the TTS-10 sends an alert when a person with a high temperature within 3.3 feet (1 meter). This provides the first layer of screening protection using a hygienic non-touch infrared technology. It uses a Quad-core 1.8Ghz processor, Wi-Fi and Ethernet capabilities, as well as an advanced algorithm for detecting and calculating heat signatures. Based on technology developed in Germany, the accurate sensor measures with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 degrees Celsius (+/- 0.9 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the companies.

Future firmware upgrade options will include facial recognition with customized flagging and ReAX IP Control. ReAX by Aurora can be integrated into almost any security system, health care system, door sensor(s), door release mechanism(s), lighting and much more. While ReAX is a fully automated control platform, third-party control systems will be able to interface as well.

Here are the details.
