Aurora Claims 1000′ With New Component/VGA Extender
With only one Cat-5/5e/6 cable, Aurora claims its new AS-CAT1-VGA lets you extend VGA (at WUXGA) or 720p component video (YPbPr) signals, with bi-directional IR control and half-duplex serial RS232 control simultaneously up to 1000 feet (330 meter). The AS-CAT1-VGA comes complete with transmitter and receiver, has built-in equalization, signal gain control and RGB delay control (de-skew). Since the input is a VGA port, a component-to-VGA adapter cable is required for sending up to 720p HD signals up to 1000′.
There aren’t many specs on this product, but what the company does have are here.
