AudioControl to Debut Surround Receivers at CEDIA Expo 2023
AudioControl will be debuting two compact-chassis surround receivers at the CEDIA Expo this week, enabling integrators to deliver Dolby Atmos for Home Audio and DTS:X Pro processing in any zone. Both models are 1U and feature AudioControl’s adaptation of a GaN-based high-power amplifier platform. The Bijou3 offers three powered channels for L/C/R applications at 100 watts per channel, plus a subwoofer output and two additional audio outputs for system flexibility. The CXR-5 AVR Mini offers five powered channels at 65 watts per channel, a subwoofer output and two additional audio outputs for easy 5.1 or 7.1 system configurations. Both models offer “high power” and “exceptional performance” from a compact 1U form factor that can be housed in an AV rack or mounted behind the TV. These compact surround receivers from AudioControl are a solution for multi-channel audiovisuals in any room. Dirac Live room correction will be offered as an option. Integrators will be able to manage system configuration remotely.
Additionally, AudioControl says the AudioControl Director Model M6800 multi-zone amplifier is now available with a Dante option that supports digital audio networking capability, continuing the company’s commitment to providing “the most advanced, high-performance entertainment solutions” for professional AV installers. The Director Model M6800D is a 16-channel amplifier with onboard DSP, and drivers are available for popular third-party control systems, including Crestron, Savant, RTI and Control 4. Last year, AudioControl began delivering the CM-Series 70-volt amplifiers with a Dante port option, making AudioControl’s Made in USA quality available for outdoor entertainment and other applications.
