Audio-Technica System 20 is the Entry-Level Solution for Schools; Engineered Sound Wireless is for Lecture Halls

audio technica

Audio-Technica introduced a range of wireless microphone systems tailored to both K–12 classrooms and higher education lecture halls. Each solution is designed to improve speech intelligibility, ease deployment and scale across various learning environments.

  • System 20 PRO
    • Targeted at entry-level applications, the System 20 PRO operates on the license-free 2.4 GHz spectrum — making it deployable without frequency coordination. It includes built-in channel processing, a combined channel output for simplified integration, and remote monitoring for IT and AV staff to check microphone status across a network. Charging options are available for managing multiple systems campus-wide.
  • Engineered Sound Wireless
    • For high-channel-count needs such as lecture halls and multi-room campuses, Engineered Sound Wireless operates in the globally available DECT band. The system supports 48- or 96-channel configurations, offers automatic frequency management and features long battery life. It also includes Dante output for networked audio integration with existing AV systems.
  • ATND1061 Beamforming Microphone
    • Designed for active learning environments and lecture capture, the ATND1061 provides hands-free, high-quality audio. Each unit supports six steerable beams and covers up to a 5-meter radius to pick up instructors and students. Up to 20 microphones can be networked together. Built-in DSP supports automatic mixing, echo cancellation, noise reduction and voice lift functionality for consistent audio throughout the room.
