Audio-Technica announced three new hires in its System Solutions team: Michael Combs as Pacific Northwest Territory sales manager, Jason Ingle as Northern California Territory sales manager and Matthew Jensen as Southern California Territory sales manager.

The company says they will be charged with identifying opportunities in the ProAV market and collaborating with other arms of the Audio-Technica organization to maximize the outreach of A-T integrated solutions. The announcement was made by Audio-Technica U.S. Executive Director of System Solutions Reid Peterson and represents the company’s dedication and ongoing investment in the ProAV market.

As Pacific Northwest Territory sales manager, Audio-Technica says Combs will be leading sales and support efforts in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and western Montana, drawing upon his 30-plus years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Based in the Seattle area, he is familiar with the territory and market and is dedicated to business development through account management and growth.

In his new role as territory sales manager, the company says Ingle will be leading sales and support efforts in Northern California and central and northern Nevada. Ingle is from Pleasant Hill, California, and has been working in the audio industry for years. Initially working in sound engineering, he is familiar with audio systems and translated that knowledge to a successful career in sales.

Based in Los Angeles, Matthew Jensen will be serving Southern California and Hawaii as territory sales manager. Jensen has been in sales/rep positions for many years and has also worked with Audio-Technica in the past as an independent rep while earning awards such as the Audio-Technica Excellence in Sales Achievement and the President’s Award.

“Our commitment to the professional AV industry is higher than ever before.” Audio-Technica U.S. Vice President of System Solutions Mark Humrichouser said. “These recent hires reinforce our brand’s dedication to this market and represent a strategy of continual growth. We are excited to hit the ground running with this extremely knowledgeable group of professionals.”

These three managers add to an Audio-Technica System Solutions national team that includes the recently restructured territory of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, Las Vegas, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and eastern Montana — led by Greg Shade, veteran Audio-Technica territory sales manager of System Solutions.

“Greg has been with Audio-Technica for many years, and we are fortunate to have someone with his experience and knowledge at the helm of this newly reorganized territory,” Peterson added.
