InfoComm 2013: Attend with Attitude!

infocomm13-0613Required disclaimer: This represents the opinion and experience of me personally and does not represent any specific policy, law or official guidance. We’ve all been there during an installation when your customer on the project says, “Hey, let’s add a drop here!”

It doesn’t matter if your project was a design/build or some reiteration of design bid build, your customer is going to continue to think in terms of design, even when that process has long since passed. The question of “Have I thought of everything?” or even “What have I missed?” may plague a project unless proper project management and communication is done up front and early on the project. How many extra hours in your most recent project did this cost you? What technology exists to handle this type of problem on your project? Can attending InfoComm 2013 help answer these types of questions? I believe so!

InfoComm 2013 is filled with every possible expert in digital signage, worship, commercial, government and even residential. I can’t tell you all the great knowledge that you can gain by simply starting out with simple questions! For some InfoComm shows can be completely overwhelming! This is why it’s time to pick your attitude and run with it! Just remember whether you’re an end user (like me) or some big wig manufacturer, InfoComm 2013 is about sharing knowledge, and learning, so bring your all your simple and tough questions and go find the answers!
