ATOMOS’ NINJA V and NINJA V+ Now Supports Apple ProRes RAW Over HDMI For OM-1 MFT Camera
ATOMOS announced that the NINJA V and NINJA V+ will support recording of Apple ProRes RAW over HDMI for the new OM-1 Micro Four Thirds (MFT) camera from OM SYSTEM. The NINJA V/V+ will record 12-bit ProRes RAW video at the DCI 4K standard up to 60fps.
The HDR display of the NINJA V/V+ provides a preview of the image from the OM-1 and offers the ability to choose between HLG and PQ (HDR10) standards. The five-inch touchscreen provides access to a range of software tools including waveforms, false color, check focus, framing guides, LUTs and image magnification. ProRes RAW clips recorded from the OM-1 will support White Balance and ISO adjustment sliders in Apple Final Cut Pro.
Support for the OM-1 will be made available with a firmware update from ATOMOS, which is currently scheduled for release in the first half of 2022.
