Atlona Ships Three More New Products Ahead of Schedule

JOSE, Calif., March 24, 2015 – Atlona announced today that three of its new products unveiled last
month at ISE in Amsterdam, the AT-UHD-M2C-BAL converter, AT-UHD-SW-52 switcher, and AT-UHD-
SW-51 switcher, are now shipping.

“Our dealers have been eagerly awaiting these products since we announced them last month, and we
are happy to tell them that they are shipping earlier than anticipated,” said Ilya Khayn, Atlona’s co-
founder and CEO.. “Our customers have come to rely on Atlona’s innovation and rock-solid reliability,
and these products will certainly meet those same high standards.”

The AT-UHD-M2C-BAL is the industry’s first 4K-compatible converter which extracts and down-mixes
Dolby and DTS audio tracks and provides balanced analog audio output in stereo or mono. It features a
web-based interface allowing remote control of mode, volume and EQ. The converter also processes
audio content while allowing 4K/UHD video, in any resolution format, to pass through from the source
to a display, extender, switcher, or other component.

To meet professional standards, the analog signal output from the converter (+4dBu) is provided via a 5-
wire captive-screw connector on the rear panel. Rear panel connections also include ports for IP (RJ45)
and RS232, allowing control via third-party systems or its web-based GUI. In addition to volume, audio
settings for mute, bass and treble can all be adjusted remotely. Audio on the converter’s HDMI output,
also on the rear panel, is configurable to provide either the original multichannel content or the down-
mixed channels.

The front panel of the AT-UHD-M2C-BAL provides an HDMI jack for source input and a USB jack for
installing firmware updates. LEDs indicate the format of the audio source (PCM, Dolby HD, DTS-HD, etc.).
The device is HDCP compliant and can be switched on/off for use with non-compliant displays and
devices. The device also supports EDID management, and a 5V DC power adaptor is also included.

The AT-UHD-SW-52 and AT-UHD-SW-51 are part of the AT-UHD-SW-5 Series, Atlona’s first line of HDMI
switchers that support 4K/UHD video @ 60 Hz. Both switchers have 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and an
internal web server enabling GUI control over EDID, HDCP, and audio settings. The switchers are
equipped for auto-switching and remote control via IR, IP, or RS232 formats. Both switchers support
multi-channel digital audio formats up to Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

The AT-UHD-SW-52 offers an audio return channel, a useful feature when used with displays equipped
for web streaming, and provides dual mirrored HDMI outputs without HDBaseT. The switcher features
front panel control for source selection and volume level and front panel indicator for volume level. It
performs audio de-embedding and is equipped with rear panel outputs for S/PDIF and balanced stereo
audio.

For installations requiring 4K switching without mirrored output, balanced audio, or front panel volume
controls, the AT-UHD-SW-51 offers a cost-effective solution with the series’ core AV and management
features, including web-enabled control of EDID and HDCP, audio de-embedding with stereo
output (unbalanced), and S/PDIF output.

Both switchers are rack-mountable, occupying 1RU in height and one-half RU in width.

The AT-UHD-M2C-BAL, AT-UHD-SW-52, and AT-UHD-SW-51 all carry Atlona’s award-winning 10-year
warranty.
