Atlona Joins SDVoE and Launches 10G AV-over-IP Matrix System Dubbed PRO5
The SDVoE Alliance announced that Atlona has joined as an adopting member. Atlona’s new PRO5 Series matrix switching solution features SDVoE technology for long-distance, point-to-point extension.
The PRO5 Series includes the AT-PRO5-MX810, an 8×10 matrix switcher with HDMI inputs and SDVoE extension outputs for transmitting 4K HDR video and audio to companion PRO5 Series receivers. Each SDVoE output supports either copper or fiber optic connectivity, enabling the extension of 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR formats.
The solution supports AV, Gigabit Ethernet, and control signal extension over standard 10GbE connectivity using CAT6a UTP or fiber optic cable.
