AtlasIED Releases SHS-3T2-HD Hidden Speaker For Shallow Ceilings
AtlasIED has added to its Strategically Hidden Speaker family (SHS) multifunction loudspeaker line by meeting what they say is integrator demand to install its high-quality sound capabilities in tight spaces with the new SHS-3T2-HD.
Featuring a curved profile, AtlasIED designed the SHS-3T2-HD specifically for use in shallow, hard deck ceilings that can’t accommodate a larger plenum footprint of the SHS-6T2 or SHS-3T2. This solution utilizes AtlasIED’s Adaptive Dispersion Lens Technology, which consists of a three-inch diameter lens and a micro trim ring.
The SHS-3T2-HD expands the high-quality sound capabilities of the company’s Strategically Hidden (SHS) line into a wider range of commercial environments. Including the SHS-3T2-HD, SHS-6T2, SHS-3T2 and SHS-LF, the SHS family now offers a solution for any space, providing design continuity and high-quality, full-range audio throughout an entire facility.
Healthcare, hospitality and corporate facilities can now tap into AtlasIED’s Z Series digital all-in-one sound masking, background music and paging system. The SHS-3T2 and SHS-3T2-HD seamlessly integrate with both the Z Series Z2-B and Z4-B High-Definition Acoustical System, offering quick connections through the use of Cat5 cables. These Bluetooth-enabled Z Series models feature integrated pink and white noise generators for sound masking applications, as well as a mic/line input for paging and multiple zones to accommodate a variety of installation configurations.
Along with excellent fidelity, all SHS speakers can be customized to maximize aesthetic continuity. AtlasIED’s DesignLab color match process uses high-resolution UV-printing technology to replicate ceiling color and texture onto the SHS lens so speakers blend seamlessly into even the most hard-to-match environments.
