Ashly Audio is releasing its cutting-edge AquaControl software – first launched as part of the company’s groundbreaking integrated mXa-1502 mixer amp – to all PC users as AquaControl Portal. AquaControl Portal allows the customer to work offline and to replicate work done on the software to multiple hardware units.

Ashly’s AquaControl software is typically accessed via an internal web server within a specific product – such as the mXa-1502. The release of the software as a stand-alone offering is done to make the work of the integrator easier, quicker, and more effective.

The PC version of the software is called AquaControl Portal and is available online immediately at: www.ashly.com/aquacontrol-portal

“The software allows everyone who is interested to evaluate, explore, configure, and present an AquaControl installation exactly as it will be used in the field, without being tethered to hardware,” said Noel Larson, EVP of Sales and Marketing at Ashly Audio. “You can look at all the settings and potential configurations that will be available to you for your Ashly Audio system. The software also works as an amazing demo for those beginning their AquaControl evaluations”

The AquaControl Portal also offers uses for those who are already committed to the Ashly Audio workflow. By using the PC version of the software, integrators can set up settings configurations on a PC then send them on to installers in the field to load onto multiple units. The PC based software also allows partners to share files and presets.

The software shares all of the functionality of the on-unit AquaControl software, including Auto-Mixing, Advanced Priority Ducking, Ambient Noise Control, Input & Output (Speaker Voice) Template Import & Exporting, a Remote Control Page with the new Virtual WR-5 wall remote, a Comprehensive Event Scheduler, and a collection of Dynamics, EQs, Filters, and Delays.
