Ascendo Immersive Audio Enters North American Market

Ascendo Immersive Audio (AIA) is now expanding into the North American home cinema market with heir debut being at next month’s CEDIA show.

Their demo at CEDIA sounds impressive: 24 speakers, 24 kW, fully active and digitally networked. The new immersive cinema formats Dolby Atmos, Auro3D and DTS: X are implemented uncompromisingly in one set up.

Not only is the implementation exceptional, but also the acoustic result. The Ascendo-experts paid special attention to dynamics and speech intelligibility. By DSP-controlled Coax systems, which are powered each with two 500-watt Class-D, a virtually unlimited dynamic is reached. The overall system power of the CEDIA demo is 24 kW.

The cinema is easy to install, reliable and future proof through the Ethernet AVB networking of the active speakers. Surround processor, Ethernet switch and CAT cables, that’s all what is needed to install the scalable solution. A separate rack or technical compartment is not required anymore. Whether you have a 5.1 or 32 channel setup, the system grows with the needs.
