Artison Introduces Biggest and Boldest Studio Soundbar at CEDIA Expo

artisonDALLAS, TX, September 13, 2016 – Artison, the leader in attachable loudspeakers for flat panel televisions, will debut its new top-of-the-line soundbar at the CEDIA Expo. The new model, Studio 65, is the company’s biggest and most powerful model to date.

Measuring 2.3” D x 4.6” H x 65” W, or 2.3” D x 65.25” (minimum) W x 4.7” H with a custom grille, the Studio 65 will complement screen sizes of 70” and larger. Its size matches its sonics in that the new model utilizes an advanced three-channel/thirteen-driver design for true stadium-like performance. Add Artison’s signature stealth aesthetics to the mix, and the Studio 65 will satisfy the most demanding audiophiles and the custom integrators who cater to them.

“From the start, our Studio series of soundbars was meant to give custom pros a high-end alternative to the standard single-cabinet solutions cluttering the market,” said Cary Christie, President and Founder, Artison. “This year, we decided to pull out the stops with a model that is not only custom-tailored to larger screen sizes, but sounds as if it were designed for a full size theater rather than home viewing.”

Artison’s new Studio 65 Soundbar is attachable to any flat panel or display 65.50” or wider. The extruded aluminum, black anodized enclosure is among the most solid in the market, and designer grilles are available for a seamless blend with the room’s décor.

However, it is the driver array that most separates the Studio 65 from competitive models. The center channel features a 27mm Vifa XT Super Audio tweeter for superior reproduction of movie dialog, in addition to four 3.5” carbon fiber long throw woofers. Left and right channels respectively include one 27mm Vifa XT tweeter, two 3.5” CF woofers, and one 19mm tweeter.

Between the driver array and increased internal volume, frequency is extended a full 10Hz over the company’s previous top of the line model, bringing frequency response to 70 Hz-50 kHz +/- 3dB. Recommended power is 75-250 Watts, nominal impedance is 6 ohm, and sensitivity is rated at 91 dB.

“So many soundbars are designed to be solutions first and high performance audio products a distant second, if that,” added Christie. “Our Studio series turns that equation on its head. As good as these products may look, and as well as they fit on a display, they are first and foremost high-end home theater speaker systems that stand head and shoulders above competitive models at the same price.”

The Artison Studio 65 Soundbar will ship in late Q4 for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $3,000, including standard custom grille and brackets.
