AREC Debuts AI-Powered Speaker Tracking Station for UCC, Courtrooms, Houses of Worship and Town Halls
AREC just launched an AI-powered virtual director in the firm of the DS-9CU Speaker Tracking Station. AREC says it can “intelligently controlling multiple PTZ cameras” to capture speaker shots, seamlessly switching display layouts, and presenting them on the big screen in real time.
Designed for small to medium-sized conference rooms, courts, ministries, and town halls, AREC DS-9CU supports customized overlays and participants can see each speaker’s image and key details on the main display. When a speaker stops speaking by pressing the cancel button, DS-9CU automatically reverts to the default view. Additionally, it offers advanced speaker auto-control settings, including override and FIFO modes. The new Theme Change Interval function further enhances the viewing experience.
AREC DS-9CU connectivity options include HDMI, USB, and RJ-45 interfaces. Supporting 4CH 4K UHD or up to 9CH Full HD video sources, it is compatible with network-based protocols such as H.264 RTMP, RTP, RTSP, SRT and NDI|HX.
