There seem to be some career shifts in all industries lately, dubbed “The Great Resignation.” According to Scott Tiner, this is especially felt in higher ed, where many resignations have posed questions for workers in those sectors. Let’s be clear here, AV in higher ed is important and will only continue to be important as hybrid classrooms continue to be a reality. But anyway, I think it’s important for y’all to read this as universities decide to keep AV in-house or outsourcing.
In that same vein, Michael Katz wrote a column for all you #AVtweeps out there looking for new jobs. He’s had a long career and knows just the right type of advice to give to anyone looking for the next opportunity. Here’s a hint: Don’t be afraid to reach out to people.
