Happy weekend, #AVtweeps! Although I don’t know if saying that strikes the same chord as it used to when we were all working on semi-regular job schedules — and by that, I mean not at home. It feels like everywhere you look, there’s more pandemic news, and although that can be emotionally exhausting, it’s something we have to think about in our industry. Christopher Gillespie’s column this week touches on that, and how to set the new wave of work-from-homers up for success! It’s a worthy read.
The other column I have for you this week is from Graham Cooke of Futuresource Consulting — he addresses another burning question that’s been coming up as of late — are LCD video walls going away? Samsung ~did~ announce that it will be ending its production in July 2020. BUT, Graham says, not to fear. Give it a read for his argument alone.
In other news, AtlasIED has a new sound-masking speaker, Mersive Technologies has a new active learning solution, Yamaha UC has a new Zoom-certified sound bar, and more!
