So, what does AV have to do with building management anyway? Historically, this relationship hasn’t been smooth sailing, but in David Danto’s latest piece, he says that now might be the perfect time to try again. Within the past few years, AV has been integrating more sensor technology and with Microsoft and Cisco developing platforms that deal with live occupancy and environmental data, the relationship between AV and building management is becoming a little clearer.
