My dad always jokes that I’m terrible at getting technology to work. So isn’t it funny that I ended up here, in the AV industry, writing about how technology works? He’s lying, anyway. Nothing has ever been my fault!
In Lee Distad’s latest column, he writes about how sometimes we discover that the problem isn’t operator error. And sometimes, calling that helpline actually feels good when you realize the just product doesn’t work. But you still have to troubleshoot.
I’m quite proficient at using technology now. I’m the Ghostbusters “Who You Gonna Call” of setting up turntables. Which is a blessing and a curse.
