In Paul Konikowski’s latest article, he writes about some lessons learned from Scattered Spider and also provides a great summary from the Infrastructure Security Agency. Check it out and find out how to protect yourself from the attack tools used by this cyberattacker and potentially even ones that are similar.

Also, Bob Snyder writes about the new AV brand from company Econocom. Why is this big news? Econocom is one of Europe’s leading tech providers — so for this to create an AV group (called “Gather”), it’s a big deal. The group will create AV, UCC and IT solutions that include collaboration spaces to digital signage. I think this shows how deeply the different sides of our industry have become intertwined — it’s very interesting! Read more here.

I warned #AVtweeps about their aggressive social engineering Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Well, as it turns out, I’m not the only one getting arachnophobia about Scattered Spider.
