To all of you who love making connections and networking, I’m so happy for y’all, but that could never be me. There is something about going up to a stranger that makes me so nervous. Luckily, Michael Katz wrote a column all about the connections he made at InfoComm and a little about what it takes to make connections at a show like that. Basically, sometimes you just have to attend a lot of events and other times, just host your own!

In 2023, I made a large number of new acquaintances from June 13-16 by visiting many exhibitor booths, some sponsored events, a dinner, my own happy hours and participating in a streaming video.
