There’s something to be said about a newsletter that’s absolutely full … of news. You guys, let me be clear: I absolutely cannot wait for InfoComm. So many of the news stories have made me incredibly excited to see everything there is to see on the show floor. I’m ready to network! I’m ready to see the new tech! Samsung announced this week that it will no longer be making its own LCD panels as of June 2022. This doesn’t mean that the company is getting out of the LCD display market altogether; what it does mean is that if you buy a commercial Samsung display, the LCD layer inside that display will have been made by someone else.
