Hello, #AVtweeps; happy April! It’s my birthday! So in true birthday fashion, I am going to play music bingo later with a bunch of my friends, and I can’t wait. It just reminds me that there is always stuff to look forward to no matter how bleak COVID makes everything look.

Beginning January 2022, the European Commission awarded Avex and Videlio a four-year contract as the audiovisual provider of event facilities for all types of EU summits and events. While some industry press noted the award, the significance becomes clear when the EC highlights this as the single biggest award the EC has ever given. Ever.
I think the most important question asked in the case study is, “Why would we want to accept Bitcoin?” In our industry, the only group that I can think would have a reasonable answer to that question would be the residential installers. Corporate, Education, House of Worship and other verticals are well settled into the traditional cash flows and accounting. However, residential customers, especially the very high end ones, may be interested in paying with crypto.
