Happy Thursday, everyone. I’m so happy to be back in your inbox with another ProAV newsletter. This December has already been crazy busy, between working on our plans for next year here at rAVe or between all the things I have to do this month! (Yes, I am attending two weddings in the same week. December is crazy!)
Let’s talk about offering work havens. If you’re an integrator, you’ve likely heard all about switching to working from home or working from anywhere. Are work havens going to become a staple in the job of being an AV integrator? Check out Mark Coxon’s article for more insight into this conversation.
Also, the recently signed Infrastructure Bill will for certain affect the AV industry. With all the renovations and expansions that come with this, technology will be included. To find out more about how the AV industry can capitalize on this, check out this blog from our pals over at AtlasIED.
Finally, check out this column about loudspeaker directivity from Mike Sims at QSC. If you are interested in exploring polar plots, off-axis frequency response plots (and the waterfall version) and polar maps, this article is for you! Come, my friends, and dive into the world that is off-axis frequency response and directivity.
In other news, AVI-SPL will acquire SKC communications, Extron added new integration of digital signage content to its ShareLink Pro and more.
P.S. Take a look at a couple of the LAVNCH & LEARNs we have coming up on the schedule (featured in ads below)! If you’re interested in learning more about the state/future of digital signage (yes, we mean post-pandemic) or about effective communication in the workplace, these are right up your alley! Check out all our upcoming LAVNCH events here.
Have a great rest of the week!
