I mention a lot that I’m very intrigued by all of the mergers and acquisitions that have been rolling through our industry (more often than usual, it seems). They seem good at first, but are they actually good for our industry in general? Gary and I discussed this during our episode of rAVe [TV] today. I think there will be a cycle over the next 20 years of many acquisitions. However, people will eventually want to break out of the mold and create new companies again. Business, like many things, is a cycle. Mark Coxon also talks about this interesting cycle in his latest column. What does it mean to have a couple of pretty big integration firms neck and neck? Read his thoughts here.
