As discussed in today’s episode of rAVe [TV], SnapAV has applied to go public! Exciting news, as Gary says, when companies in our industry go public, it gives us a real insight into what’s going on in AV.
Next up: trade show news! ISE has announced the lineup for its virtual offering — it’s still unclear whether many of us U.S.-dwellers will be able to make it this year. But, of course, rAVe will still cover the show in any way we can, whether we cover virtually, in-person or a hybrid of both. Also, Integrate 2021 is open for registration! Once again, the same rules apply; it’s not looking like people from the U.S. will be able to get into Australia, but we are looking forward to covering the show virtually!
Take a look at the column this week from Mark Coxon (with some great advice about the ups and downs of — well — working in this industry). He offers great insights and details his own career trajectory. The other column I’ve featured this week is one from Scott Tiner. How does the global shortage of a lot of stuff affect you? If it hasn’t affected you yet, will it? Read to find out.
Finally, check out product news and updates from ClearOne, AVer Information, BenQ, Poly, DPA Microphones and more.
P.S. LAVNCH WEEK 4.0 is around the corner! Be there May 25-27 or be square!
