Hello, AV pros and fans, and happy Wednesday! I wanted to remind you that the Tenth Annual Readers’ Choice Awards are still open for nominations — but not for long! Your last chance to nominate your favorite companies in many different categories ends Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. EDT. Go vote!

That said, let’s get to our columns this week. Our first piece is a reminder that it really is all about your people, in life and business! The people who make up your team are the people who make your business run and your products work. Lee Distad says when we emphasize people’s value on our teams, we realize the importance of having the right people in place. This is seen on a larger scale just by looking at our industry. Though it’s been a while since our people have been together as one, we can always remember the value and strength we have as a team.

Next up, another great article from Futuresource! You may have guessed it, but microLEDs are set to displace LCDs and OLEDs in consumer TV applications. So how can the Home sector jump on this opportunity and ride the wave? Integrations, new partnerships and developing new tech are just three ideas. Find out how microLEDs are taking the market by storm, and get some perspective on the opportunities this growth creates for the Home market.

I think that’s it for this week, #AVtweeps. Don’t miss news about CEDIA awards, new product announcements, exciting partnerships and more below. Have a great week, and I’ll see you next time!

— Katie Clark

No matter what your business is, what segment you’re in or what technology you work with, it boils down to who’s on your team. My dealer’s management is happy with the recent new hires they’ve made, some of whom come from outside the channel and some from within.

+ How MicroLED Is Set to Change Screen Technology in the Home — The Emerging $50 Billion Opportunity [Ted Romanowitz]

MicroLED is on track to displace LCD and OLED in consumer TV applications.
