Today’s newsletter has a bit of a digital signage theme.
The first column comes from Bob Snyder, who writes about CubeSat, a satellite made of multiple cubic modules — it will ride on Elon Musk’s SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. On one side of the CubeSat, there is a spot for ads. Why would someone put ads there? Simple. It’s memorable because it’s different. I’m talking about it now. The more people who talk about it, the more clout it will get. We’ll see if it works!
Another column I have today is from Mark Coxon, who goes step by step in explaining how all the crazy 3D signage ads work. You’ve seen them: The Jeep seemingly driving off-screen, a Panther jumping from display to display, there are a ton. And now we can know how they work!
Enjoy all that and the news from this week.
Have a good weekend!
