Do you ever feel like you’re a hamster running on a wheel, but then you’re scared if you stop running that the wheel will kick you off? That’s pretty much how this week is going. But we’ll take busy because that means we’re still moving forward. In the midst of all of the news we’ve been posting as quickly as we can, we’re also smack dab in the middle of LAVNCH WEEK 2.0. Oh, by the way — I’m hosting that, so it’s even more reason to join and take a look at all that we’ve put together. (EdTech Day and Digital Signage Day are left.)

In this issue, Lee Distad writes about how to deal with job site delays because, let’s be honest, right now there are more than a few of those. And, Mark Coxon gives us a great article about the pros and cons of all the virtual events that are happening in the industry.

Plus, product news! Go read it!

Have a good day!

COLUMNS

+ How to Deal With Job Site Delays [Lee Distad]

For my dealers who’ve still been open the past few months, one of the many challenges they’ve faced has been delays on the commercial/industrial installations they were working on. That got me thinking about dealing with job site delays, and how to deal with them.

+ The Good (and Bad) of Virtual Events [Mark Coxon]

2020 is the year of remote everything. It has been a work from home, webinar heavy, travel light year for the whole country and, of course, for us in the AV industry as well. As such, our biggest events of the year have all been canceled or shifted into the ether.
